What led you to becoming a therapist?
For me, it always came down to wanting to help people. I want to see people make positive changes in their lives. I have always been that friend that people come to when they need an ear to listen. I have always found it fascinating to help others find solutions to their current problems and work their way to a happier place. As a therapist, I am able to help people learn to identify patterns of behaviors that have lead them to where they are and use that information to create new patterns of emotional/behavioral regulation that will ultimately help them move towards reaching their personal life goals.
What licensing do you hold?
I am currently a licensed marriage and family therapist and have been practicing since 2009. I am also an AAMFT & MFT NV Board approved supervisor for marriage and family therapist interns working towards licensure.
I hold active licenses to practice in the states of Nevada, Idaho and Utah. Sessions are offered in Nevada In-person or online via HIPAA compliant telehealth application. Utah & Idaho residents are offered telehealth services only.
